HOW TO PLAY

Guess two NERDLEs in seven trials. The color of the tiles will change after each guess to indicate how closely your predictions matched the answers.

Each guess involves a calculation.

You can type = or 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9.

There must be one "=" in it.

To the right of the "=", it can only have a number; no other calculations are permitted.

Calculate * and / before + and -, for example, since that is the standard order of operations. 3+2*5=13 not 25!

If you don't turn off "commutative answers" in the settings, we will accept 20+10=30 if one of the answers we're looking for is 10+20=30.

You will receive one color tile and one black tile if your guess, for example, contains two 1s while the correct response only has one.

Only when a whole guess is rearranged as a successful commutative response or when the number is in the proper position will tiles turn green.
